Robbie Burns Night

Robbie Burns Night is always a great time to get together with friends and enjoy an evening free of our wonderful children! Here are some photos, including one of the famous tartan kippa from New Brunswick. We bought three. We may buy more. Every Jewish house needs tartan kippot!

    • There is not much of a story to the kippot. We toured the very small synagogue in Saint John, New Brunswick last summer. The community there is extremely small, and so they have turned their synagogue into a museum. They had these at the gift shop there, and we liked the idea of supporting this small community while adding to our Scottish-inspired Burns Night with an official tartan kippa! The whole Jewish – Scottish interplay is fun. And that’s the explanation! 🙂
